Quindell Orton

Quindell Orton is a dance artist based in Munich since 2016 performing, researching, facilitating and making. Born on Noongar land, in what is now called Australia, Quindell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and works since 2008 as a freelance artist. Quindell collaborates since many years with Anna Konjetzky, and co-runs the Playground, an artist run space in the Creative Quarter focusing on a Queer-feminist discourse and creating a community of Practice. Quindell is interested in viewing the body in it’s socio-political contexts, in how the materiality of the body can transform and how the body can be used as a reflective tool. Quindell has collaborated as a performer and movement coach for various artists in Munich including Christiane Huber, Oliver Zahn, Lena Grossman, Christina D’alberto.

Since a few years Quindell has found the perfect Banana Bread recipe and is very happy about this achievement.
