Emmanuelle Rizzo
Tänzerin, Choreografin
Born in Italy (Siracusa), 29 years old and based in Munich, she has a strong classical dance background and works primarily as a contemporary dancer, with additional training and experience in hip hop. This combination has shaped her energetic and versatile stage presence. Her work moves between the independent scene and institutional theatre contexts.
She performed as a dancer in opera and theatre productions at venues such as the Bayerische Staatsoper, Staatstheater Nürnberg, and Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, as well as with independent companies including DieTanzKompanie by Grégory Darcy, SEtanztheater Nürnberg by Sebastian Eilers, and Susanna Curtis & Co.
With her solo In meinem Himmel, she reached the semifinals of the Solo Dance Contest at the Gdańsk Festival Tańca (2020), and with the duet Hut she was selected for Prospettiva Danza Teatro (2021).
She co-created her first work for Young Audience 12+ with Barbara Galli-Jescheck, which premiered at Theater Hoch X in October 2025.
In December 2025, she was part of the production Nutcracker Now by Susanna Curtis at Tafelhalle Nürnberg and was involved in So forsch, so furchtlos, created with COLABS by Beate Höhn, which premiered in February 2026. She was awarded the Dance Scholarship of the City of Munich to continue her artistic research project Movement Diary – Postpartum.
